Most women who live on the streets are vulnerable to rape, and often turn to prostitution to make some money. I periodically supply her with some food or clothes, but I realized that these women resisted the idea of undergoing sterilization even if you offer to pay for it. I later realized why.
Another woman, who lives nearby, and has 8 children ranging from 3 months to 12 years, leases out her little girls to the men who solicit sex from her. The children become a form of income -- not just through this but also begging. The second family earns more and eats better. They manage fish everyday and her children are healthier looking. There arn't enough women's shelters in India but even if there were one of the biggest problems would be that after generations of living on the streets many of these women would be extremely resistant to any form of institutionalized living -- with rules and regulations. This is a big challenge for India, right now crowing about its economic "success." 80% of Indian women fall under the poverty line and 9 out of 10 suffers from poor nutrition and anaemia!"

"Darwin stated people are products of their environment. In order for Chinese to marry, they must be of certain age. This age is usually two or more years younger than men. If you unmarried, you will be penalized and heavily persecuted for giving birth. If you are wealthy, the matter is small. If you are under the marriageable age, the fetus must be aborted; or face punishment. There are signs everywhere to remind you of this. It has been that way since 1978; in sharp contrast to the Mao era when large families were encouraged.
Numerous checks and balances are in place to make sure there are no unpermitted births or pregnancies within your local area. You will be inspected anytime and anyplace. Society will not stop to help you. Everyone around you well understands that is the law; there will be little compassion. If one breaks the law they will be chastised by society. Nobody will stop to help you, yet many will question your failure to follow policy. You will face the rushing current of propaganda each day; and it will not end after birth. Women are less valued then males. In some locations if the child is a female, you are permitted to try again for a male.
Its forbidden to determine the sex of a fetus before birth in order to avoid people having abortions based on sex. If it is female, in many places it will be aborted. If there are no male children, in some places you will be heavily chastised. If you find out it is a female through corrupted individuals within the system; there are those that will help you terminate it. Abortions routinely happen up to 8 months pregnant. There are places were babies have been abandoned and fetuses often found dead that were female. China is the most populated country on the planet. There are many exotic car dealerships which import Lamborghinis and other exotic automobiles. No Mercedes will stop to give those at the bus stop a ride. No people will stop to help you have an unpermitted birth."
